# Digital services, built and run.

I build and operate websites, data pipelines, and AI applications — from the first line of code to a running system in the cloud.

**Web · Data · AI · Operations**

I have worked at the intersection of marketing, data, and IT for over 25 years. rieger.digital is the delivery side of that work: concrete digital products and services that I design, build, and keep running myself.

No framework zoo, no buzzwords — proven technology, cleanly deployed, and measurable from day one.

## Services

### Web & Platforms

Websites, landing pages, and portals — static or dynamic, fast and maintainable.
Hugo · Astro · Tailwind · Netlify · Cloud Run

### Data & Analytics

Tracking and server-side tagging, Search Console and BigQuery pipelines, reporting you can rely on.
GTM server-side · BigQuery · Python · SQLite

### AI & Automation

LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation, on-prem agents, and workflow automation.
Ollama · Qdrant · LangChain · OpenAI-compatible APIs

## Selected work

### a11yscore — Accessibility as a measurable value

A scanner that checks any URL against WCAG 2.1 AA — as a REST API and as a conversational web app with a structured report of violations, warnings, and passed checks.
Stack: axe-core, Playwright, Cloud Run, Firestore, Next.js

### EuroCAPTCHA — Bot protection without depending on US platforms

A proof-of-work CAPTCHA based on quadratic residues over a Woodall prime — fast to verify on the server, tunably expensive on the client. Plus a SaaS shop with Stripe subscriptions and API key management.
Stack: Node, Web Worker, Cloud Run, Laravel, Stripe

### Server-side tagging — Tracking that holds up against the browser

Building a GTM server container against data loss from ad blockers, ITP, and short cookie lifetimes — alongside a German-language content site on the topic.
Stack: GTM server-side, Hugo, Tailwind, Netlify

### Search Console analytics — SEO data beyond the UI limit

Pipelines that tap the Google Search Console bulk export in BigQuery and mirror it into SQLite — for keyword and URL analysis and cross-domain comparison.
Stack: Search Console bulk export, BigQuery, Python, SQLite

### On-prem LLMs — AI that never leaves the building

RAG and SQL agents that run entirely on-premises — document search and natural-language database queries without a single external API call.
Stack: Ollama, Qdrant, LangChain, SQLite

### Static-site platforms — Fast sites that machines can read too

Multilingual static websites with a build pipeline, plus Markdown mirrors and llms.txt for discoverability by AI systems.
Stack: Hugo, Astro, Tailwind, Netlify

## Approach

Technology is a means, not an end.

1. **Small, shippable steps** — something usable early beats something perfect late.
2. **Standard tech over a framework zoo** — tools that are still maintainable in five years.
3. **Measurable from day one** — tracking, logs, and reports belong in the first version.
4. **Operations built in** — deployment, monitoring, and cost are part of the solution.
